Warmwater Anglers Custom Tied Esox Leaders

Targeting the baddest freshwater fish in North America with the biggest flies requires a leader that turns over easily and accurately. It should also withstand the abuse of large toothy fish in unforgiving environments.

The Warmwater Anglers Esox Leaders are 5’ in length making them a perfect match for modern sinking lines. The butt sections are constructed using a single 3’ piece of high quality 100% Fluorocarbon with a perfection loop on each end. The wire bite tippet is a 2’ section of premium 49 strand nylon coated stainless wire connected via perfection loop that won’t fail and is easy to change. The 2’ wire bite section can be used with your favorite fly clip or is long enough to allow many “re-ties” before getting too short (less than 10”).

Features:

• Premium fluorocarbon butt section
• Premium 7x7 49 strand wire bite tippet
• Fluorocarbon to wire is a loop to loop connection
• Butt sections come with perfection loop for easy connection to fly line

Available in two tippet sizes:

• Esox HD: 5' with 40# wire bite tippet.
  • Ideal when throwing larger flies and/or targeting bigger fish.
• Esox: 5' with 25# wire bite tippet.
